Support Staff Equipment List
Please make sure to label all of your gear!
Everyone Should Bring:
1 large plastic bag containing:
1 warm sleeping bag
1 blanket
1 warm coat
1 duffle bag containing:
1 rain poncho (make easily accessible!)
1 heavy-duty garbage bag
1 ground cloth, tarp, or heavy visqueen/plastic (for under your tent)
1 pair of comfortable, sturdy boots or shoes to hike in (make sure to break them in before Trek!)
1 pair of tennis shoes
3 pairs of good, sturdy socks. (Get socks of wool or synthetic material, not cotton.)
3 sets of underclothing
1 metal pie plate (or a plate with enough of a lip to hold stew) - Optional. We'll have paper plates
1 large spoon - Optional. We'll have plastic utinsels
1 fork (or a spoon/fork combo) - Optional. We'll have plastic utinsels
1 water bottle
1 small package of baby wipes (it gets dusty)
1 comb or brush
1 toothbrush and travel toothpaste
Deodorant
Small first aid kit
Small bottle of hand sanitizer
Any physician prescribed medications
1 pair of work gloves (leather works best)
Lip balm with sunscreen
Insect repellant
Sunscreen
Sunglasses (optional)
Anti-chafing stick
Scriptures
Personal journal and a pen or pencil
1 Tent
1 Camp chair
Compact sleeping mat (optional)
Bandana (optional--Trek bandana will be provided)
Men Should Also Bring:
2 pair of cotton or canvas pants (no denim)
2 long sleeve shirts
1 pair of suspenders
Warm pajamas
1 wide-brimmed western style hat (no baseball caps) with string for wind
Beanie or knit winter hat
Compression shorts under pants (optional)
Women Should Also Bring:
2 mid-calf length, long sleeve dresses or skirts and long sleeve blouses
Compression shorts/pants to wear under skirt
1 wide-brimmed straw hat with a string (bonnets aren’t recommended–they get too hot)
Beanie or knit winter hat
1 or 2 aprons
Warm pajamas
Feminine hygiene supplies (make easily accessible!)
